Oh goodness!

Only two weeks left of summer. There are so many things I wanted to do this summer and I haven't done most of them. So.....I'm going to live up these last two weeks! Here is a list of things I wanna do:

Go swimming

Get ice cream with my daddy

Get a pedicure and/or manicure
Go on a hike and watch the sunset
Go stargazing
Go boating-I'm CRAVING it :)
Go to Lagoon-this one probably won't happen
Take my brother to breakfast
Finish my quilt
Finish the trek movie
Pack for school

I know this looks like a lot but I'm going to try my HARDEST to accomplish everything on this list.

a goal not written down is only a wish.

it is good to have goals. something to work towards. my sister just made a goal to not buy any shoes for four months. on january first the whole world makes goals to better themselves. a new school year is a time for goals. goals help you to have something that you are working for so that you can become a better person. there are long term goals and short term goals. people make goals to exercise, to quit smoking, to get straight As. a lot of times the goals we make are forgotten or given up on. a goal not written down is only a wish.

i am setting a goal. i am not very good at taking criticism. i want to be right. all the time. that needs to change. i shouldn't take advice and criticism so seriously. if someone tells me that i'm doing something wrong, i should honestly take that criticism and use it to become better. i shouldn't be so defensive. sometimes i need to admit that i'm wrong. that is my goal.

He is an incredible friend.

He is always there when I need him. 

(Even though he never answers his phone.)

When I'm having problems with boys, friends, or life he knows what to say.

He is so strong. So solid.

He is quite good looking.

He loves the Gospel.

He is funny.

He tells me that I give the best hugs.

He is a great example of a disciple of Christ.

He is going on a mission to El Salvador.

He leaves tomorrow.

I'm going to miss him.

Dreams....

I think that sometimes dreams you dream can come true.

One time I had a dream that came true. I dreamed that there were fireworks, and a kiss, on a special day.

Another dream: I was in my bed and bugs were eating the insides of my elbows.....it hasn't come true.

Last night I had a dream.....that I fell in love. Love at first sight.

I wonder if it one will come true.

So much to do. Never enough time.

Life update.

Work actually isn't horrible. I love the people I work with. I'm getting huge muscles. The worst part is the profanity, smoke, and getting up at 4:15 am.

I am saddened by the current state of my skin. I don't have any tan lines and summer is ending.....fast. I haven't spent enough time in the pool! I can't complain though, at least I'm not sunburned.

My current music obsession: Arms by Christina Perri

I have no social life. I wake up, go to work. work my butt off, come home, shower, eat, spend time with my family and maybe see a friend, try to go to bed early.

I did, however, get to hang out with one of the coolest six-year-olds on the planet! Weston was my preschool student during my senior year of high school. He has red hair and a couple people have actually mistaken him for my son.....I'm not old enough to have a son! He is shy until he knows you and then he is so awesome! Anyway, yesterday we went and saw Rio at the dollar theater. Then we went to Jungle Jim's to have pizza and play games! I love that kid. :)

Sometimes my dad has good days, sometimes he has bad days. Why are there so many more bad days than good days?

I am finally.....almost registered for my classes! I'm so excited for this semester! They are all education classes and I'm going to be so busy! Sixteen credits.

I still have SO much to do before I move back to Logan. I have a little more than three weeks to do everything. The problem is that I only have a couple hours in the evening to do them.

Out of sight, out of mind. I'm getting a little bit stronger!

I am currently in the middle of a project. I'm making a quilt. For my bed. In Logan. I'm so excited about it!......Now I need to find time to finish it.

Last summer I was on the Pepperwood Swim Team. Monday-Friday. 7:15- 8:45. I loved it. I haven't been swimming yet this summer. That makes me sad.

Best Friends....nothing will come between us.

I miss my roommate Makenzee Layne Kassing! I miss our girl talks, late nights, and funny times! I can't wait to move back up to Logan!

I also miss my other Utah State friends. I can't even write down all their names.

I especially miss the ones that are their mission. I miss Richie's smile and laughter. I miss Michael's hugs and sincerity.

I'm going to have overtime on my next paycheck!
