As an old man walked the beach at dawn, he noticed a young man ahead of him picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea. Finally catching up with the youth, he asked him why he was doing this. The answer was that the stranded starfish would die if left until the morning sun.
"But the beach goes on for miles and there are millions of starfish," countered the old man. "How can your effort make any difference?"
The young man looked at the starfish in his hand and then threw it to the safety of the waves. "It makes a difference to this one," he said.

One of those days....
where you just want to eat everything in sight.
when you go to the temple and have an amazing time.
when you see David Archuleta at the temple.
that by the end of the night you have a headache.
where you wake up from a dream that may or may not be significant to your future.
when you go to an Aggie basketball game and scream your lungs out.
where you don't do any homework.
where you teach a line dance.
when the Religion In Life devotional was exactly what you needed to hear.
when life continues to not be perfect but it is great.
when you go to the temple and have an amazing time.
when you see David Archuleta at the temple.
that by the end of the night you have a headache.
where you wake up from a dream that may or may not be significant to your future.
when you go to an Aggie basketball game and scream your lungs out.

The glow that the sun gives
Right around sunsetHelps me realize
This is just a journey
Drop your worries
You are gonna turn out fine.
Oh, you'll turn out fine.
Fine, oh, you'll turn out fine.
But you gotta keep your head up, oh,
And you can let your hair down, eh.
You gotta keep your head up, oh,
And you can let your hair down, eh.
I know it's hard, know it's hard,
To remember sometimes,
But you gotta keep your head up.

Smile :)
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you're happy and you know it, then your face will surely show it,
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
Sometimes I have to remind myself to be happy. I wish it was more of an automatic thing. I know that happiness is a choice, so I choose to try my hardest to be happy. If I don't feel happy I hope I can make it appear as if I am. Remind me if I slip up.

The Greatest Love
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
No one has ever known a greater love than that of God for us, his children.
Happy Valentine's Day to all.

No one has ever known a greater love than that of God for us, his children.
Happy Valentine's Day to all.

I miss them.
I miss them. I miss all of them. I miss the ones who left to serve the Lord. So many things remind me of them and I think about them a lot. I hope they are are busy, happy, and serving with all their might.
I miss his smile.
I miss his hugs.
I miss his friendship.
I miss his laugh.
I miss his jokes.
I miss his singing voice.
I miss his sincerity.
I miss them.
I miss his smile.
I miss his hugs.
I miss his friendship.
I miss his laugh.
I miss his jokes.
I miss his singing voice.
I miss his sincerity.
I miss them.

They're Dropping Like Flies!
Yet another one of my friends is engaged. It is becoming an almost daily occurrence. Probably a little more on the lines of weekly. But it feels like it is daily. I have gotten to the point that it actually makes me giggle. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy for them, really I am. So excited that they found the person of their dreams to spend forever with. But when I see "___________is engaged to __________" on Facebook I can't help but giggle. So many people are getting married. It is hard to believe. I just keep telling my self that someday, I will find that special person that I want to spend eternity with. How great that will be!
